Dear Holy Saint Peregrine, patient sufferer and patron saint of malignant diseases, please intercede for me as I ask Our Blessed Lord for His peace and consolation during my time of need. While incurably ill, you became for us an example of unwavering faith and trust in God's compassionate will. You were miraculously cured by the loving hand of Jesus Christ.

Renew my faith in the Lord's healing touch in my hand, body, and soul, as I humbly place myself in His loving care.

Lord, grant me the resolve to convert my suffering into prayer for myself and my loved ones that we may have the grace and courage to accept my illness. Allay my fears as I begin each new day. Comfort me through my set-backs and give me the hope and fortitude to continue, even though at times I am discouraged or frightened. Help me to find reconciliation with you and forgiveness for those deeds and omissions that I truly regret. Give me a greater understanding and gratitude for all that you have done and continue to do for me. Thank you Lord Jesus. I place myself in your hands.
