O God, I thank Thee that Thou hast protected me during this past night and hast preserved me from a sudden and unexpected death. I desire to gain all the indulgences possible this day. Give me Thy grace that I may not offend Thee this day, but that I may faithfully do Thy holy will in all things. AMEN.
