St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in Battle; be our protection against the malice and wiles of the Devil. We humbly beseech thee O God to restrain him, and do though, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the Divine Power of God, Cast into Hell, Satan and the other evil spirits, who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls.
