St. Hedwig was born in Bavaria around the year 1174 A.D. She married the prince of Silesia and became the duchess of Poland. She had seven children and was devoted to serving the poor and the sick by founding many hospitals. St. Hedwig entered a Cistercian convent after the death of her husband, where she died in 1243 A.D.

St. Henry - Feast: July 13th (Optional Memorial)

St. Henry was of German origin and related to several other saints. St. Bruno, bishop of Augsburg, is his brother. His sister Gisella married St. Stephen of Hungary. St. Brigid, abbess of the St. Paul monastery, was his sister. St. Henry was elected emperor after the death of Otto III. Pope Benedict VIII concurred with the election. St. Henry was the first western emporer to receive the Golden Globe surmounted on the cross.

St. Hilary was born at Poitiers sometime around 315 A.D. He was a convert from paganism. St. Hilary was made bishop of Poitiers. He was so strong in his fight against Arianism that the Emperor Constantine exiled him. St. Hilary wanted to strengthen the Catholic Faith so he wrote many books including his most famous - "De Trinitate". He was declard the "the Doctor of the Divinity of Christ" by Pope Pius Xi. St. Hilary died in 367 A.D.

St. Hippolytus was baptized by St. Lawrence. He wrote "Apostolic Tradition" and is the source of Eucharistic Prayer II. St. Hippolytus opposed Sabellianism. St. Hippolytus was a Roman Presbyter and is buried along the Via Tiburtina. He was martyred in 235 A.D.
