Saint Adelaide also known as Aleydis was born in Schwaerbeek, Belgium. At age seven she was placed in a Cistercian convent at La Cambre. Saint Adelaide contracted leprosy and was forced to isolation. Many miracles were credited to her intercession. Died: June 11,1250, Feastday: June 15.
